Malaysia Trip Count Down Started
It's official now, our trip to Malaysia during Thanks Giving is confirm. Hubby and I were busying arranging the itinerary yesterday and finally we bought the ticket. We will be leaving on the 21st of Nov and returning on the 11th is Dec. It's only 2 weeks trip because i only have these much vacation save up this year.
The air fare was reasonable but the problem is all the day we selected has no opening seats available so we are force to travel during the weekdays. I guess the good news is we save up some $$ by traveling on the weekday but use up more vacation by staying longer. Oh well.. not actually a bad thing cause that mean I can spend another day in Malaysia eating delicious food.
Since yesterday I started my Malaysia shopping list as well and packing list. This will be our first time traveling with Aidan. A lots to pack and things to remember when comes to traveling with a toddler.
Any suggestion what stuff i should get from Malaysia before i regret? Any advice on traveling with a toddler? So looking forward to the trip minus the time we are going to spend on the plane :(

remember to pack as much toys as you can. Travelling with kid is fun, u may ended up one BIG bag for Aidan, and another bag for you and hubb only! And...your hand carry will full with Aidan's toys!

Hi Joanne, all.. if not for the baby at least the stroller will help on hand carry haa..
Hi there, Just stumbled into your blog. Very nice job! I can offer some suggestions as I have travelled with TWO young kids before. Best thing was getting some cheap dollar store type toys and wrapping them up(newspaper comic page works well) to look like presents and give them out every few hours or as a reward for taking a nap, good behaviour etc. Will your toddler have a seat on the plane? I find the bulkhead seats work well for young kids. I remember throwing down some blankets/jackets etc to make a bed for them on the floor..they slept for hours! U can also request kids' meal(my son did that till he was 15!!) which also means they'll get fed before the rest of the crowd. Colouring is also a great activity. If your kid is young enough, there are these coloring books that u "paint" with water and the colours appear! Bring age-appropriate snacks. Bring comfy slippers to wear on the plane. Baby gravol may also be a good idea as u never know if he'll get airsick or not. If he is still on the bottle, good idea to give that to him as sucking helps to even the ear pressure during takeoff and landing.(older kids can chew gum). Hope this all helps. Have fun!!
Thank you so much for the tips.. will keep these in mind.
